History has been made! After eight seasons of trying, the New Zealand Breakers have become the first New Zealand team to win an Australian professional club title.On their homecourt at the North Shore Events center in Auckland , American Import Gary Wilkinson led the Breakers with a 14 point haul.
Australian CJ Bruton hit two late three pointers in the fourth quarter to get the home crowd rocking as the NZ Breakers led by 19 points with just five minutes on the clock.
It was a convincing performance from the homeside, who lead for the entire game and squashed any doubts about their ability to fightback after their sluggish finish in game two of the finals series
